The “Corn Van” made its rounds in September as employees visited festivals in Benton and Warren Counties.  The Dan Patch Days Parade in Oxford and Patriot Festival Parade in West Lebanon were the latest stops.

The Fowler Harvest Festival was a success with employees taking in a total of $143 on the pop ring toss game, which will be donated back to the Harvest Festival Committee.

We also held customer appreciation “Snack Days” at the Kentland and two Fowler locations last month.  We truly appreciate your business.  Thank you for putting your trust in us!

Halloween is coming up, don’t forget to stock up on goodies for the trick-o-treaters.

Here are a few safety tips from the American Academy of Pediatrics to ensure a great Halloween:

  • Costumes should be bright and reflective
  • The length of costumes should be short enough to keep from entangling or tripping
  • Flashlights should be carried by all adults and children

While at a football game, a family had their car broken into.  Things stolen from the car included a garage door remote, and a GPS that had been prominently mounted on the dashboard.  When the victims got home, their house had been broken into.  The thieves had used the GPS to guide them to the house and the garage door opener to let themselves in! Since the family was at the football game, the thieves knew the timeline for when they would be home.  If you have a GPS in your car or phone, don’t put your exact home address in it.  Put in a nearby address, like a gas station, so you can still find your way home.
