We would like to remind everyone that the Fall harvest is in full swing in our area and local farmers are working hard to get their 2009 crops out of the fields.  Please be aware of the slow moving vehicles and drive safely.

To our farmers, we wish you a safe harvest and an abundance of crop.  We look forward to working with all of our farm clients again in 2010, as well as new clients that would like to learn more about great Ag Programs available at Fowler State Bank.

Customers have been receiving their 2009 Christmas Club checks and are ready to begin the Holiday shopping season!

If you are interested in opening a Christmas Club account for 2010, stop in any one of our four convenient branches in Fowler, Kentland and Williamsport to learn how you can start saving for Christmas shopping next year!

Deposits can be in any denomination. For example, if you deposited $20 per week into your Christmas Club account, you would have $1,040 for next year's Christmas shopping needs!

Everybody who has given us their email address knows that we started sending out periodic, informative emails last September. Now we are on target to launch a new and improved website later this year.

The new site will enable us to be more informative (e.g. present our financial statements online) and provide our customers with ways to make their banking more convenient, which is what we are always striving for. It will allow customers to apply for accounts online and email us securely. We are particularly excited about the secure email feature. No matter where you are, we will be as close as your computer keyboard!

Fowler State Bank will be participating in the Town of Fowler Trick or Treat activities on Friday, October 30th.

Bring your little ghost or goblins in for some treats. Business Trick or Treat is from 4:30 to 5:30. The costume contest will be in front of the Bank from 5:30 – 6:30. In case of rain on the 30th, the costume contest will be in the Theater. Fowler State Bank will be donating one of the bikes that will be given away through the Chamber raffle.

We hope to see everyone on the 30th for a great All Hallow's Eve celebration!
