Greetings!

Fowler State Bank is committed to providing you sound tools to meet your financial needs.  We sincerely appreciate your confidence in Fowler State Bank, and would encourage you to contact your favorite representative with any questions about our financial products.

In October, our employees participated in “Go Pink” on Fridays to raise awareness for Breast Cancer and all Cancer.  Fowler State Bank employees made a donation to wear pink and jeans each Friday, and jars were placed at each FSB location for the public to make donations as well.

Fowler State Bank matched a percentage of the contributions made by employees and the public.  All together, $510 was collected and donated to our local Cancer fund.  Hope and our health is the greatest gift, and its value is priceless.  We thank our Staff at Fowler State Bank and the public for their generous contributions.

Our Williamsport Staff participated in the Business Expo hosted by West Central Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Wabash Valley Bible Baptist Church. It was a great opportunity to visit with the public and network with service agencies, businesses, and community leaders.

Winners of the drawing of our raffle were Joe Kiger, Juanita Kane, Amy Holly, Tiera Witty, and Donna Roberts.

Our Cash winner for the Pheasant Huntin’ with Fowler State Bank contest, which ended November 8, is Valerie Murphy of Earl Park.  Valerie has won $200 for her hunting efforts. We appreciate everyone who visited our web site and hunted for the Fowler State Bank pheasant.

Keep watching for our next promotion to win money for your Holiday Shopping.

The Sixteenth Annual Wonderland of Lights Christmas Extravaganza located at the Newton County Fairgrounds just northwest of Kentland will open on November 26, 2010, and go through Sunday December 26, 2010. The Wonderland of Lights is open to the public on Thursday through Sunday.

Thanksgiving Day is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of every November.  This holiday was set by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1939 (approved by Congress in l94l).  Thanksgiving is a communal celebration marked as a sense of gratitude people feel for all the good things in life.  This is done by offering prayers, gifting your near and dear ones.

The tradition of Thanksgiving continues to date in the form of family reunion feasting, traditional turkey, parades, and football games.

We appreciate your business and interest in Fowler State Bank.  If there is anything we can do for you, please Contact Us at one of our four convenient offices to speak with your favorite representative.
