Fowler State Bank would like to welcome Gloria Hofmeyer as a part-time teller.  She enjoys fishing, crocheting, painting, and cooking.  “Gordy” also enjoys spending time with her husband, Ed, her grown children and grandchildren, as well as friends.  Welcome “Gordy”!

We collected almost $400 total to be donated to the various food pantries, along with many boxes full of food at each location.

The Kentland Branch made their donation to the Kentland Food Pantry which is organized through the Covenant Federated Church of Christ.  They donated a total of $100 and around 100 food items.

The Williamsport Branch made their donation to the Williamsport Food Pantry.  They were able to collect $75, and one box plus three of our “Go green” bags full of food for their food pantry.

Grant Avenue collected five boxes full of food and $12 to be donated to the Oxford Food Pantry which is ran by Community Action.  The Main Bank was able to donate $200 to the Senior Center for their food pantry program. Around 5 boxes full of food were collected and donated to the Open Arms Food Pantry in Fowler.  Much of the food was given to the Fowler Fire Department when they helped stranded motorists during the blizzard.

Bank employees will be volunteering at the Fowler Theatre on the nights of February 21,22, and 23. Come out and join us for a fun filled evening!

The “Pink Game” was rescheduled to February 3 due to bad weather, but that didn’t stop Fowler State Bank employees from supporting breast cancer awareness and the Lady Bison.  The gym was filled with pink clad fans as the Lady Bison pulled out a hard fought victory against Central Catholic.  Fowler State Bank employees donated a total of $164.00 to the “Susan G. Komen for the Cure” fund.

The American Heart Association designated Friday, February 7, as “National Go Red Day” in support of women fighting heart disease.  Fowler State Bank employees joined in by wearing red on this day to support this worthy cause.
