Fowler State Bank is committed to providing you sound tools to meet your financial needs.  We sincerely appreciate your confidence in Fowler State Bank, and would encourage you to contact your favorite representative with any questions about our financial products.

All Fowler State Bank locations will be having a food drive from November 29- January 3.  When visiting your most convenient location, join us in collecting non-perishable items for our local food pantries.  Jars will be available for cash donations for the food pantries as well.

Employees will be able to go “Casual for a Cause” and wear jeans on Fridays when they bring in food items themselves.  Join us in helping our community food pantries!

Fowler State Bank’s “Go Pink” campaign was a huge success again this year.  Fowler State Bank matched customer & employee donations totaling $1022.  Linda Brouillette presented a check to Nancy Rainier on behalf of the Benton County Cancer Association in November.

Thank you to all who donated to a great cause!

Think identity theft happens more with online thieves than it does with someone snatching your purse or wallet?  Think again.  According to a study by the Travelers insurance company, nearly half of all identity theft results from a missing purse or wallet.  This is three times more than online breaches of information!

Take these preventative measures to ensure your identity:

  • Take out your Social Security card, password list, blank checks, and spare keys.
  • Make photocopies of all cards in your wallet and have them in safekeeping.

If your purse or wallet goes missing, take these steps:

  • Call your credit card issuers and request an “account number change.”
  • File a report with your hometown police department.
  • Alert your bank to change PINs or new checking account if the situation warrants.
  • Place a “fraud alert” on your file at the three major credit bureaus.
  • Contact your DMV about a replacement driver’s license.
  • Ask private medical insurers for a replacement account number to avoid insurance fraud.
  • Check your credit report about two weeks after your wallet or purse goes missing.

Reminder: Fowler State Bank will close at noon, Tuesday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 31. We will be closed Wednesday, December 25 and Wednesday, January 1.

Happy Holidays from everyone at Fowler State Bank!
