Numerous Fowler State Bank employees participated in the annual Benton Central FFA Auction on Saturday, March 28.  Employees assisted in getting the bidders registered and checked out.  The Auction was a huge success again this year.  The money raised benefits the Benton Central FFA students.  Thank you to those of you that volunteered and the Benton Central FFA for allowing us to help!

The employees of Fowler State Bank recently made a generous donation of $555 to the Pets Healing Vets program.  Sergeant First Class Adam Sanford, Brother-in-law of Fowler State Bank Employee Betsy Sanford, created the Healing Vets Freedom Walk to help raise awareness for Veterans suffering from PTSD & the Pets Healing Vets program.  The Pets Healing Vets program trains dogs to pick up on the triggers of PTSD & then the dog is paired with a suffering Veteran.  The program pays for all expenses related to the animal for the rest of the animal’s life.  Adam recently received his very own dog, Ranger,  from this program.  On the weekend of March 27th through March 29th, Adam successfully completed his mission to “ruck” march the 90+ miles around the Tippecanoe County border.  He did this in hopes that doing something crazy & extreme would help bring new awareness to this awesome cause & great organization.   It was an honor to be able to support Adam & all the Veterans who go through this program in the future.
